About us

Slapes is a partnership of Jamie Davies & Mark Holah. Between us we have over 12 years of design and development experience. When we’re not working on developing ideas we are both psychology teachers and writers.

Mark is an experienced teacher and psychology examiner. He is head of a large and successful psychology department and author of many A level psychology websites including holah.co.uk. Mark spends lots of time delivering OCR specific courses to schools and colleges around the UK.  He also manages the day-to-day running of the sites we develop and look after.

Jamie is a teacher, a-level examiner and writer from Yorkshire. Graduated from Cardiff University and currently teaching at a large Sixth Form college. Jamie is the one who writes most of the code and spends his time playing with databases, PHP, JS and CSS. He loves Macs and hates IE6 and all the extra work it takes to get things to go just right.
