We have recently redesigned and now host the Folens Psychology Companion blog.

The Complete Companions are written by leading Psychology authors Mike Cardwell, Cara Flanagan, Michael Griffin and Rosalind Geillis, The Complete Companions have been completely re-designed to meet the needs of the AQA ‘A’ and WJEC specifications.

The Online Companion features a lively blog and provides lots of helpful resources.  Contributors to the blog include, Mike Cardwell, Cara Flanagan, Adrian Frost, Evie Bentley, Jean-Marc Lawton and Mike Griffin.

We are currently upgrading our exchange sites so that they are all as feature rich as PsychExchange.

The portal for all of our exchange sites can be found on The Exchange Network site.

The details of the ATP Conference 2010 are now online.  The 28th Annual Conference is to be held at Keele University, Staffordshire, Friday 2nd July to Sunday 4th July, 2010.

The conference is for teachers of psychology and will offer updating sessions on psychology, presentations and workshops on teaching and learning, and opportunities to share good practice. It is the number one CPD event for teachers of psychology in the UK

The ATP Conference website is of course developed and managed by Slapes.com

On the 5th of February 2010 PsychExchange reached a milestone in that we reached 500,000 downloads.

We have created PsychExchange PLUS as a way of paying for some of the server costs that this amazing web site runs up.  For £15 a year PsychExchange PLUS members gain a number of extra features.

Some of these extra features include: the option to preview most of the resources on the site prior to downloading them, ability to send private messages to all users, an INSET directory, a personalisable my.PsychExchange landing page, online chat, a private forum and also the ability to tag your own resources.

The money generated will help with the costs of around £200-per-month to keep the site running.

Here’s to the next half a million – downloads that is.

Slapes.com manages and hosts  Cara Flanagan and Mike Cardwell’s very successful South West Conferences company web site which specialises in Psychology A level student conferences and teacher INSET.

They are still taking bookings for their Science and Pseudoscience conferences starring Phil Banyard, Richard Wiseman, and Andrew Newton.

ScienceShare.co.uk is a new addition to our exchange sites.  Sarah requested this site and, at the time of writing this blog, Sarah has already uploaded 129 of her own resources.

We do hope other scientists will be willing to share their resources with Sarah and other science teachers.

Directions to the University of Exeter are also included as is a facebook group for ATP members.
